"If
we are always arriving and departing it is also
true that we are eternally anchored. One's destination is never
a place but rather a new way of looking at things."

Travel
is one of our most precious freedoms.
To celebrate the spirit of travel, Steve Zikman, co-author of Chicken
Soup for the Traveler's Soul®, set out on a 12-week
cross-country RV tour, co-sponsored
by Coachmen RV,
the Ford
Motor Company, and Cracker
Barrel Old Country Stores.
This 23-state trip kicked off in New York City
on May 4, 2002 and ended at the Pier in Santa Monica, California
on August 12, 2002.
The route took Steve to many popular travel
destinations including some that are featured in the book, as well as
the hometowns of many of the book's contributors. Booksignings and other
special events were held along the way.

Now, more than ever,
is the time to travel and see America!
